Priority for founding companies (Exxon/Esso, BP, Chevron, Schlumberger, Halliburton) and embassy families.

This is the most popular private, non-profit, coeducational day school. There waiting list is over 2 years long so you should apply as soon as possible. It offers classes from pre-school through grade 10 and it offers International Baccalaureate Primary Years programme (from Pre-Primary to Grade 6). The IB Middle Years programme is being implemented. A new campus was opened in 2003 and some of the facilities are sports fields, a swimming pool, cafeteria, art and music rooms, computer labs and a library.

The school is outside Luanda City (in Luanda Sul) and students don’t have to wear uniforms.

This interdenominational school is located within the city. Its program is British/South African with an American school calendar. It has a classic educational philosophy and instruction is in English. Courses are from pre-primary to Grade 9 only.

The Portuguese School is mostly oriented towards Brazilian and Portuguese families but English is taught as a second language. It is located in the city center and follows the European school calendar for students between the ages of 3-18.

Instruction is in French with English as a second language. It follows the French school calendar under the direction of the French Ministry of Education, receiving guidance in the French higher education system after the 12th grade.
